I've had a hiccup in my new fic that underscores my assumptions about US law enforcement and how I'm sometimes wrong because I'm from Canada.

Talking over my problem with a colleague in RL, she asked me, "What's the goal of the story?"

"Like so many police procedural fanfictions," I replied, "The goal is to get awkward detectives laid."

Yay! I just (a few hours ago) finished "Lies". Hope to get the last 2(!) chapters posted before what I hear is Erbe/Leight's second run at SVU with Eames. Brrrrr...

Still working on my current obsession, my very first horror story LOL! It's a 3-way X-over, LO:CI, X Files & L&O. I'm really happy with how it's going, but now I realise that I have no idea how I'm going to get rid of the creature I created. Maybe I'll just let it live. 

I just started a new fic. Crazy, with the 6 or so others I am working on. I'm not going to start posting it until I've at least finished drafting it. Finished the first chapter earlier today, and it's SO GOOD! So suspenseful, and it's so so hard not to post it!! LOL.

But I'll be strong.

It's gonna be a big big departure for me.

I'm creating a lot of heat but not much light with two of my latest passions, my POI/CI crossovers (of which I have several that I started, then abandoned), and my untitled AU/AR CI fic which has been a WIP for like 2 years ( Read more... )
